Terrible!
Robotic voice is just antagonising. Not sleep inducing at all. Much better available on YouTube. Don’t waste your money.

Annoying voice
The woman doesn’t match her tone of voice with the meditative music & her gibberish like vocals just ensures you are kept awake.
I am usually a fan of the many sleep meditations available on YouTube ect. Disappointing indeed.

narrator’s voice sends me to sleep
I was sceptical about guided meditation - however it actually worked. I think that the voice of the narrator is just so calm that it naturally makes you focus on the audiobook instead of on your thoughts. For the context , I tried audiobooks that had some storytelling (sci fi books, etc) but I focused too much on the book’s content and consequently could not fall asleep.

Really helped
I have seen a few low star reviews for this title and cant understand why. The sample is true to the voice and style of this audible book, so for those who were not comfortable with the voice or style, im a little confused as to what you were expecting? Its a great way to support the relaxation process and gives you something calming to focus on while drifting off. Even if you don't fall fast asleep straight away, if you use this recording with realistic expectations of it being a support to sleep not a cure, it is fantastic. As a long term insomniac and anxiety sufferer re night worries and waking obtrusive thoughts, this has really helped me retrain my mind and body into a healthy sleep pattern. Recommended :)

Like listening to a podcast ad
Two chapters of talking about what it is.
So disappointed, was quite relaxing then it turned awful.
Narrator was ok, script leaves a lot to be desired.

I have a hard time staying asleep, and meditation on my phone is helping me get back to sleep. I've used for about a week now, and have never stayed awake to the end. thank you for the extra hours of calm rest and sleep!

I never make it through the whole meditation 🧘♀️
I am an ICU nurse part time, I teach full time in a nursing program, AND I'm in school for my doctorate. needless to say it is very hard to shut my brain off. I stumbled upon this story and I play it every night, I am sound asleep by the time I make it to my left leg (have no idea what happens after that) 😴

Writing in my sleep 😴

I'm very disappointed
this was terrible, here's how much it helped me sleep, I went to bed at 10 PM and it's now 1 AM. And this is after taking a sleeping pill. it's just relaxing music, which is great, but then all of a sudden she talks and it makes a flashing light in front of your closed eyes, that's what happens to me when I get scared. hopefully I can return it.

Not for me
I tried this Audible selection because I had been listening to books every night. I'd set the timer for 45 minutes, and would fall asleep within 30 minutes. The next day I'd have to rewind about 15 minutes to begin where I last remembered the story. But I liked falling asleep to someone reading to me, so I thought this book of guided meditations would be perfect. I listened and listened, following the instructions. It was very slow. Lots of long silent moments, of sounds, of music with no words. This kept me awake wondering if it was okay to fall asleep and miss the rest of it. Was I supposed to fall asleep in the middle of the process? Did I have to start at the beginning again tomorrow to do the routine properly? The breathing, the relaxing... I felt my breathing slow down, my heart rate slowed down. It worked, but it was totally boring for me. And I was still awake an hour later. I decided I had been doing okay falling asleep while listening to a good story. I'd rather have to rewind the next day to find my place. Guided Meditations are not for me, I guess. This one at least. I haven't tried any others.

Jolted Me Awake With Weird Subliminal Yelling
So I was drifting off around the 42 minute mark and then a voice in the meditation that was similar to the narrator’s voice started yelling in an almost crying/panicked voice “DONT LISTEN TO ME!” in a weird subliminal track under the recording that I heard clearly through my ear pods. It jolted me awake and was actually really unnerving and scary. It’s now 2:30am and I am wide awake again. Definitely not “Absolute Peace.” I am going to wait until tomorrow to go back and try to find it again. But I’ve never had this happen during a sleep meditation before. Yikes.

There is nothing to Guided Meditations for Deep Sleep, Insomnia and Relaxation.
There are much better choices out there. It repeats the same things over & over in each chapter.

Don’t buy this hoping to be led into meditation
You don’t hypothesize someone simply by repeating “you’re so sleepy”. This is just lazy. Badly done
