Summary

fast paced and action packed
Hope has been verbally and physically abused by her father since her mother died and left her a sizable inheritance. Now he has sold her to pay his debts. Hope has no intention of being abused by another man and escapes from her father's goons. She is on the run and trying to leave Texas. Hope's savior comes in the form of former DA Gage Gibson, but can he really save her from her determined father? This was a quick novella with bad guys, great guys and a great HEA. Awesome job by narration team. I voluntarily accepted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Great storyline
This is a good storyline with easy characters. It’s not too complex and has some nice steamy scenes. If you like an alpha that takes complete charge this is for you. Good performance from both Veronica and Matthew.
