Summary
Magical Beasts is now in development for a major motion picture.
Winner - Outstanding YA Fiction Ian Book of the Year Award
Sam Green thinks her life is pretty normal. Almost. She does have a strange affinity for animals, weird dreams, and a mysterious staff in her closet. But Sam’s calm life is shattered when a dragon poisons her father and the mother of her best friend Jake.
She is further shocked when a shapeshifting giant cat and powerful faerie ask her to fulfill a prophecy. Sam has two days to get the antidote to save their parents, and a diabolical magical creature in the Amazon has it. But he wants Sam’s help to conquer a parallel world full of fantastic creatures.
Sam will have to choose: save their parents, or save an entire world. And Jake has already made his choice. Will Sam embrace her destiny as a guardian? Can she master her supernatural staff? Can she defeat an unbeatable beast and still save their parents?
Guardian: The Choice is book one of Magical Beasts, a fantasy thriller series with nonstop action, powerful heroines, quirky tough heroes, and a slew of not-so-friendly magical beasts. Buy Guardian: The Choice to join the magical battle of a lifetime!

Review by 9year old daughter.
I was provided a copy of this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
My daughter listened to the story and informs me that it was thoroughly exciting with amazing characters and magical creatures. she particularly liked that the protagonist Sam is an awesome girl who's smarter than her friend Sam and kicks backside :) Considering she couldn't stop talking about it, it must've been something special and she always confirms that the narration was exciting and easy to follow.

this book had a lot of potential
The performance was unfortunately weak. While the story was interesting I found myself fairly frequently wishing the narrator were someone else. She does a fairly spotty job, sometimes she's okay and sometimes she's overacting, and that really diminished my enjoyment of the book.
But as I said this story was quite good, lots of good character interaction and development, extradimensional monsters, corrupt military organizations, a couple good mystery plotlines and some good old fashion superpowered combat.
the story was fun, and I'd be interested in more of the authors work, and I hope the narrator finds her stride with some more experience.

great read
The story immediately caught my attention and the narration was very well suited. I immediately started the next book in the series because I just couldn't wait to find out what happened next!

Fun Sci-Fi/ Fantasy Series
This was a good beginning to a new unique Fantasy series. This is a complex world where things might no be what they seem. I was a bit confused at first but everything comes together nicely as you continue listening to this wild fast paced adventure.
Narration was excellent and brought the story to life.
This is a new author for me and I’m really glad I decided to give this book a chance. There is plenty action, adventure, suspense, drama, and very unique magical creatures. It is hard to decide who is a friend and who is a foe.
Sam and Jake go through a wild adventure where they have to make major decisions to either save the life of people they love or save a world of magical creatures they don’t know/remember.
I’m looking forward to the next book in this unique magical series.

A refreshing story!
I really enjoyed this audible! It kind of reminds me of a hint of "The Lion, The Witch, And the Wardrobe", but in a modern day. The action was perfect, adventure, struggle, humor, love, and everything else in an adventure to save two-worlds from forces of evil.
If you are a fan of:
Dragonia: Rise of the Wyvers by Craig A Price Jr. (and the other books)
All Dragon books by Craig Halloran (which is about 40+ books)
Rise of the Dragons (Morgan Rice)
Call Me Dragon: Dragon Fires Rising by Marc Secchia
then you enjoy this book and others by Geoffrey Saign.
The narrator did a job well done as well!

Loved it
Reality world meets fantasy world.
The story is well constructed. The story end in a cliffhanger. Leaving you wanting the next book. Well Worth a credit.
There is no foul language. Violence does not going to gory details. No sex scenes.
Narrated by: Sarah Lucero The narrator does a wonderful job and really suits the book. She brings the characters alive with their own individual unique voice.
I just love this story. Wanting for the next Book.

Teen Epic
I was given this Audiobook for an unbiased review. I've connected to groups for this purpose and feel those reading should know that before continuing.
I shan't give away plot lines or give much depth in this review.
To start with, I really enjoyed the narration. The voice and presentation fit the writing style well.
The story will hit home for those the enjoyed such series as The Lightning Thief and Fablehaven. Enjoyable but not a deep listen.
I look forward to listening to the rest of this four part series.

Great series
I finished book two before I started book one, but the performance and story was so good, it didn't bother me.
