Highlander Time Travel Romance - great fun

I am so enjoying this angst filled series featuring the ghosts of Culloden Moor. Here we learn more about what makes the ghosts of Culloden Moor so angry about the battle and the culpable behaviour of Charles Stewart that resulted in the slaughter of brave men. A waste of lives that still resonates through history

I do love these stories. The ghosts of the three MacGregor brothers, Gareth, Aiden and Liam, discover that there is more to life than revenge after they individually embark on their quests to perform an heroic deed.

When he hears Lissa Stewart boast about her ancestor Bonnie Prince Charlie, Gareth in his spectral form unsuccessfully attacks her in the car park at Culloden Moor Tourist Centre. Grasping the opportunity for a brief corporeal existence, Gareth discovers that the sins of the father should not be visited on their descendants, especially if they are a beautiful and innocent young woman. This is a clean feel-good romance that illustrates the saying that "revenge is a dish best served cold".

Andrew McDermott and Jenn McGuirk make a great team and really bring these books to life. I so enjoy the interplay of female and male voices with dual narration. Highly recommended for romance lovers, even brought me to tears at one point. Stand alone stories, although the MacGregor brothers are connected, and each has an HEA.

Enjoyabel read/listen

Gareth (The Ghosts of Culloden Moor #5), my first read from author Diane Darcy. My wife is a Scottish romance reader & sometimes the books she reads influence me to read them as well. A well-written short read, and the fifth book in this ongoing series.
Aiden (The Ghosts of Culloden Moor #9), my second read from author Diane Darcy. A well-written short read, and the ninth book in this ongoing series.
Liam (The Ghosts of Culloden Moor #14), my third read from author Diane Darcy. Another well-written short read, the fourteenth book in this ongoing series. I'll read more from this author & in this series, but what really got me going was narrator Andrew McDermott, I love his Irish brogue. Co-narrator Jenn McGuirk added to the enjoyment of the book. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
