Summary
In this revised edition of a formerly four-volume work, James Boice provides an overview of all the major doctrines of Christian theology in one volume.
Boice carefully opens the topics like the nature of God, the character of his natural and special revelation, the fall, and the person and work of Christ with scholarly rigor and a pastor's heart.
The text then covers the work of the Holy Spirit in justification and sanctification and closes with careful discussion of ecclesiology and eschatology.
Throughout the book Boice maintains a remarkable practicality and thoroughness that will benefit both students and pastors alike and will make Foundations of the Christian Faith a standard reference and text for years to come.

Labels to chapters needed
I have read this book and I found it very educating and extremely explanatory, but the only problem is that the chapters are not labelled as such you can not choose the topic of your choice.
I have bought the paper copy and the chapters still does not align with the audible. I think Amazon should stop publishers from uploading books without properly labelling of chapters.

Every true Christian must read or listen to this.
This is a piece every true believer or person must listen to. Even if you are an atheist, it makes sense to understand the Christian faith and know why and how. I will listen again and at least once every other year. Refreshing

Stellar in every way! Deep, Devotional Style!
What made the experience of listening to Foundations of the Christian Faith, Revised in One Volume the most enjoyable?
I love RC Sproul's Foundations, but this work, though similar after a fashion, is actually more heart-warming. Get the book! I feel as though I am sitting in a class listening to Boice as his warm embrace of experiential theology is communicated with clarity and power. Denison is excellent in his treatment of the material.

Masterful treatment of a systematic theology
Each section is divided into its own chapter, which makes easy stop and go points. Unlike the audible version of calvin's institutes you can follow along easily and stop just about whenever you want. The theology is solid and practical. The reading is standard audible reading that can get boring but the material is excellent.

NO Chapter Titles?!
This is a devotional Systematic Theology. I could listen to any chapter and fall in love with the Lord more and more. I have one problem and it needs to be addressed: None of the chapters are titled! They are simply numbered. I have Frames Systematic Theology and Grudems Systematic Theology on Audible, and their chapters are labelled for quick reference. How can I use this Systematic Theology if I don't know where the locations of any topics are? Audiobooks are more popular than ever today, and Boices work deserves to be accessible to new generations. Show Boice respect, fix this issue asap.

Exactly what I needed and wanted
First, the voice is a solid choice. I have an audio book that I also have a print version. I love the book but the voice annoys me. This voice is pleasing to hear.
That aside, this book is rich in doctrine and gives an astounding apologetic of scripture and our faith. I wish I had found this book sooner, but it is nice finding it late and then finding that my own studies have led me to correct doctrine. I suggest this book for use in church groups. This is the first audible book I have ever suggested and will continue to suggest it to others.

A gem!
So much theology packed into one volume. Lots of good examples and not just a dry exposition. A true treasure!

My "go to" bible supplement.
A great systematic theology for the average person....if I could only own two books it would be this book and the Bible.
Narration was excellent.

Foundations
Very thorough and pleasant to listen to. As much as I enjoy James Boice as a live speaker his passion was apparent and his voice resonated with genuine care for lost souls.
