Addictive, Unique, and Erotic!

Evangeline Anderson has got an imagination, and it shines through clearly in each Brides of Kindred story. The world building is some of the best I've listened too in Sci-Fi romances, and she did an amazing job creating alien technology, foods, and unique characters, with special abilities and customs from worlds far beyond anything I could ever think up. In addition to the vivid, and descriptive universe, she brings a fresh plot, that's full of suspense, drama, lust, and really hot sex scenes! Each story is truly a journey and an adventure for the characters.

Like the other stories, I did enjoy this one; however, at times the story seemed to drag on a bit and I started to get tired of listening to Xairn and his fears of hurting Lauren. Xairn has saved Lauren from fate worse than death, and vows to return her safely back to earth. However, he's developed deep feelings for Lauren, but even after breaking free from his people and the "AllFather", he's afraid of ever mating with Lauren as he fears he will hurt her due to his dominate instincts and special mating urges. Lauren trusts Xairn and knows he would never hurt her, so she begins breaking down his walls.

I had change in narrator blues….. I really missed Anne Johnstonbrown. Jodie Bentley did an decent job narrating; however, this is a series I think would be awesome for a dual m/f narrator team.

Worth a credit? Yes! These stories are erotic, sexy, vivid and told from multiple POV's.

Where does Found rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is one of my favorites.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Found?

One was when Xairn found the puppy. the second was when Xairn finally got even with his father for all the horrible things he had done to him. the third was when he was able to talk to his mother for whom he has never gotten to have a relationship with. the last was when he and Lauren were finally able to work out his fear of hurting her.

This book was funny, made me cry, frustrated and angry.

this was a story i had been looking forward to listening too. this is my favorite book so far in this series. this book had me on a emotional roller coaster. I would get so frustrated with Xairn because he was willing to sacrifice his love for Lauren to keep from hurting her. He never had known love of any kind except his pet that he had to let die to keep her from being tortured. I felt his emotion each time he put himself down and called himself a monster. Lauren truly believed in him. This story proved that no matter that no matter how horrible your life may have been in childhood and adulthood that you can over come. :You do not have to be like your parents. I recommend this book and series. This book definitely has some hot set scenes in it. This book is not for you if you can not handle domination by the alpha male in the bedroom.

I loved this book so much like the others it has a great story line and hot sex. Now I want to know more about Nadia and the detective oh and the mixed kindred that was captured. Yes and ofcourse I want to see them all pregnant with kindred babies. Please hurry with the next book.

New Narrator :(

This new narrator completely ruins my previous illusion of all the characters. The males sound way too feminine and it’s quite upsetting. I loved the narration in the first three books. Now every voice is different and weak, which makes erotic scenes super cringy since the males have female voices. :(

loved it, loved it, loved it!

Loved it, loved it, loved it. *Not just about erocticisim* although it is very steamy! Very Very steamy between Loren and Xarin. But, the overall story is really good. (spoiler alert) Especially when Xarin is searching desparetly for Lauren amongst all seed clones and a real clone..I cried when he was screaming her name frantically, and then finally finding her 😂 The narrator did an excellent job speaking in all the different male and female voices. How she able to this is extrodinary.

Slow torture and not in a good way

The main characters are hard to relate to, very annoying hero and heroine. The female lead is shallow with very little backbone and the male lead has the potential to be an alpha male but ended up just being sad.

By chapter 8 I have no idea what's going on or who thies characters people are. I. Can't be bothered to go on.

GREAT Narrator

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! Ms. Bentley did a wonderful job portraying each of the characters-male and female. I often find myself hating EA's heroines. Most of them seem a little too whimpering, whiny or outright weak, and they often place themselves (sometimes eagerly) in these TSTL situations that have me thinking they deserve what ever consequences come down on them. But in the end, their Kindred mates almost always take whatever the punishment is.However, Ms. Bentley's performance lent a maturity to the female characters that didn't come through while reading. I think it made them a bit more likable and less annoying or seemingly simpering than I imagined. I found myself enjoying them (and even some of their female bantering) a bit more than I expected.

When Xairn saved Lauren and told her the story of how he was taught to swim.

What about Jodie Bentley’s performance did you like?

Everything! This is the first female reader I've listened to that I TRULY enjoyed. She gave each of the characters their own individual sound so that when I wasn't reading along, I could still easily determine who was speaking. Her voice as the narrator didn't sound like the lead female character's-something that drives me absolutely bananas in so many other stories.She has an awesome voice (and not just her singing voice-which is quite pretty in a very sweet, soothing way).JB also did an outstanding job portraying Xairn. Her depiction of his downbeaten humbleness was perfect.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to, and I did! This story came along with me during my Saturday afternoon-while I cleaned house, in the car on the way to the store, and in my ears around the grocery store. I kept checking the volume on my phone so no one around me could hear it through my earplugs when she got to the steamy parts. :p

Somehow I bought this audiobook first. When I went back and started at the beginning-Claimed-I was highly disappointed to find the first 3 books were narrated by a different reader. The woman who narrated the first three in the series isn't bad. She's not bad at all, but I wasn't really feeling her for THIS series. Her style reminded me of a 1940/50s actress. She has an old school Hollywood theatric-ness (whatever) about her performance that I don't care for for the Kindred series.If the rest of the series is narrated by Ms. Bentley, I will DEFINITELY buy the audio versions and give the Kindred series a second read/listen through.As I mentioned, I'm not biggest fan of most of the heroines in this series-even though I autobuy them all. Hey, what can I say? They're all so imaginative and entertaining-if formulaic-and the price is right! That said, rereading/listening to the first few books is bringing it all back to me. I'm actually looking forward to hearing some of them narrated (by JB, of course!) while I read them again. Nadiah (who MAY just be my favorite H of the series-need to recap to be sure), Mei-Li, Trin, and Maggie.

Ok but not much "action"

Ok story but hardly no sex in the whole book. These books are usually hot and steamy but not this one.

Xairn is my favorite character. My heart went out to him from the first moment I meet him.
