Summary

She forgot something on the way to the courthouse.

Sophia Abella has a good life, even if she is a little stuck. Not quite single, not quite married, she keeps men at a safe distance. But when her Marine husband returns to town and takes the job of chief of police, it might finally be time to get that paper work done once and for all. After all, most of her family already thinks she's divorced.

They're not actually, in the fullest sense of the word...divorced. Years ago, Riley Jacobs chose the Marine Corps over his wife and has regretted his decision every day since. But once a Marine always a Marine, and he'll use every tactical advantage he has to get Sophia to realize that she's the only one for him. Love and marriage - take two.

Forever with You

Forever with you is a ridiculous story. The female character is pathetic. Totally over her going to walk out of her marriage every time she does not get here way.

Way too whiny

This character went from a strong personality in the other books to a whiny weak character with unrealistic expectations of life. The whine of the narration didn’t help that at all. Have to say, my least favorite of the series.

Easy Read

Enjoy this series, but get tired of hearing how stubborn and needy the female main characters are. They seem to be portrayed as 1950 housewives - marriage and babies. They're afraid of losing, living, loving, you name it. I really enjoy the male main characters, it seems like H Bell relates best with them. So far, each main character has gotten married and had children and apparently that is all they need to be fulfilled in life. Would like more confident female main characters, less whiny and insecure. Love that H Bell main characters all have various shapes and sizes. Overall easy read.

It could have been better

The story was good enough for me to finish but there were a lot of things I didn’t like about it. It’s too many for me to mention, but am I the only one that cringed every time she said daddy-o??? I liked the story itself but Sophia’s personality almost ruined it for me.

So much woe is me

Love this series and was looking forward to Sophia's story but geez, she spent half of the time overthinking and agonising about every single thing. She needed to grow a backbone.

scared

I didn't really like this book. She did the most because she couldn't get her way. The fact that she tried to change who he is because she was scared.

Female lead gets annoying

Excellent storyline/idea but the female lead was too in and out, everything that didn’t go her way was “devastating” I can’t do this, yes I can, no I can’t.

Gap

I love this series but feel like there’s way too much of a gap between Riley and Sophia’s story and Scott and Dianna’s. Disappointed that the series didn’t cover any of the weddings or the births of the children
