Summary

During The Blitz of 1941, as Nazi bombers flew overhead, George Orwell penned this stirring analysis of England and its people.

Optimistic Orwell

During perhaps the darkest period of the war in London, Orwell manages to find some optimism and hope. A great essay fantastically read.
