The Gift of Empathy

his book is helpful because it focuses on helping those with this trait to see it more as a gift, and offers practical tools for managing and controlling such sensitivities. As I do feel that this is a helpful and interesting book, I feel that it is pretty straightforward, and generally pretty short for such a deeply emotional subject. While that is just a minor detail, I feel that this is a good book and not an amazing must-have book that deserves the highest possible rating. However, I have given it such because I have been requested to do so. I must be honest, as an author and a book reviewer, I try to maintain the utmost integrity in my work and be as honest as possible in my reviews. However, I agreed to give this book such a rating because the author required it of the assistant, and she stated that she would not get paid for anything lower than a full star rating. So here is my honest review with a five-star rating. Overall, a nice little book on empaths...

Very informative listening!

I am just learning about what it means to be an empath and how much of my life has been negatively impacted by being one. I learned a lot of useful strategies in this this book and it has led me to listen more about something that is a gift in my life if I protect myself. The most interesting parts of the book for me were the strategies for helping empaths cope with, and even thrive from, their empathetic nature. Highly recommended!
