Some people resort to eating whenever they feel stressed or sad. They think that if they eat the food they crave for during their time of stress, they will feel better. But most of the time, they feel even worse because they then feel guilty for eating more than they should. 

Eating emotionally is unhealthy. Besides it being a cause for being overweight, it doesn’t let you address your right problem. You may feel a little better while eating but when you finished your food, does it guarantee you that you will never feel stressed again? I mean, feeling stressed or sad or frustrated happens to anyone. I understand some people think it a little too often than others. You should deal with it the right way. You could use other diversions like watching movies or reading books, or you could ask for professional help on how to properly handle stress. If you continue this unhealthy habit, it could lead to obesity if you aren’t already there. But it’s never too late for you to change this pattern.  

When you’re emotionally hungry, you crave for specific comfort foods. Most of the time, these are unhealthy foods like junk foods or high-calorie foods like pizza and burger. You don’t get to pay attention and with what and how you eat. You don’t thoroughly enjoy eating, you just eat and eat, and it takes time to feel full because it isn’t your stomach that is hungry, it is your feelings.  

Emotional hunger is sudden and often uncontrollable. You just feel it instantly, and you become powerless over it. Most people just give it to this craving right away.

Positive reviewers must have been paid

This has a feeling of a self published book that didn't make a pass through an editor's hands. Countless grammatical and spelling errors in addition to loads of unhelpful information especially in the first few chapters. Reading through the reviews I was hopeful that this wouldn't be a major disappointment. I was hoping for something more than just someone stating the obvious. Unfortunately, I am starting to believe that the reviewers must have been paid for their reviews.

The narrator was unable to pronounce common words, and by chapter three, I couldn't go on.

Very practical and helpful!

I highly suggest this audio book.

Compulsive Eating is a very difficult thing to battle and I think this audio book is an ideal guide to have. It has a good explanation of what's been going and how you can stop yourself from eating something which is beyond normal. I highly suggest this audio book.

Extremely Prescribed Book

I am learning so much from the book. I didn't realize how much stress I associated with eating. Thank you for this book! One less thing to worry about! The principles of Intuitive Eating are so simple yet so contrary to what we were taught and likely passed along to our kids. I highly recommend this book!

Great listen! I highly recommend this book.

There is a different way to becoming healthy and giving up diets. This is it. I have listen it . I am getting a lot out of it and feeling better about my choices. I no longer beat myself up for not being about to stick with a diet or for a binge.
