Excellent book, easy to understand yet in depth
Really enjoyed listening.
Elizabeth has a pleasant easy going narration style very similar to her podcasts.
Tons of information, the book works both as an introduction for someone new to the wine world but also for those like me wanting to expand their knowledge.
ES takes time to explain how the wine world functions, how to understand the lingo and gives a real insight into why it is so complicated and diverse.
I will listen again very soon, this will be a book I return to over and over again!

When they want 5 star wine knowledge but ur 22 y/o
I just got hired to waitres at a 5-star establishment, but considering I've only been able to legally drink wine for just over a year, wine knowledge has been a struggle for me...The writing and narration takes a daunting topic and makes it enjoyable, relatable, and actually interesting!

A must read!
I will use this book as a reference in my wine journey and will seek out suggestions the author recommends. I throughly enjoyed this wine book. The author explains so many areas of the Wine World that I now am excited to continue my education even though I will only use the information as a normal person. Well done!

Outstanding - Must Have Resource
Elizabeth’s expert guidance is a must have resource for those who want to learn about wine and those who already love it. She candidly delivers the right amount of information with humor and clarity. I have the hard copy book and the Audible version and have worked my way through both at least twice. Her Wine For Normal People podcast and wine classes are fantastic!

Loved this book!
What can I say I’m not sure what I liked better the contents of the book or how Elizabeth read it! Fantastic read for someone. like myself, that is just starting to learn about wine and just needs the basics but then just a little bit more. Thank you Elizabeth I loved it so much that I also bought the hardcopy.

All you need to know about wine
Entertainingly narrated, this book provides a condensed version of everything most people want to know about wine, from wine making to regional characteristics and food pairing, while still giving enough detail to be interesting to those with more knowledge. Elizabeth struggles with German pronunciation, but that is the only fault I can find.
