Summary
When entrepreneur Edward Henning builds a horror-based theme park deep in the heart of Transylvania, little does he realize that his new business partner is, in fact, a centuries-old vampire. As the blood-thirsty vampire anticipates the arrival of the thousands of tourists to his land, he soon learns that the modern world is a far scarier place than the one he is used to. The vampire becomes a nervous wreck, as he has to endure the perils of the internet, drunken employees, health and safety inspections, crooked business partners, and even the Thai-Bride of Frankenstein.
Draculand is a roller coaster of laughs and horrors, in a fun-filled ride that you will not want to get off.

Really enjoyed this book. A pleasure to listen to the narrator and the characters were humorously developed and the storyline was good.

So thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining
Oh dear me I just love the characters and the story. It had me chuckling so many times I cannot tell you. It has the right mix of kind of serious and totally silly. I really would love to spend more time with this bunch, oh and just give Boris a great big hug! The narrator did a fantastic job, I always knew who was speaking just by hearing them. Thoroughly enjoyable and well worth a listen.

A multi faceted story.
This is such a multi faceted story. On the one hand it is hilarious, on the other hand it is emotional. Sometimes it is gruesome, other times friendship, love and loyalty shine through. It is a wonderful, original book and I loved it.
Sam Legg’s narration is absolutely brilliant.
A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

Quite entertaining
That was quite an entertaining listen. Not mind blowing but pretty good. It was humorous but still dark just as it should be when the main character is a 600 year old vampire. And I have to say things didn't turn out the way I expected which kept me interested to find out what's going to happen next.

Loved it!
This story from Steve McElhenny had me chuckling in me boots! When Count Dracula or should if be Radulac meets the modern world then anything can happen. The story is fast paced and very funny throughout. The very thought of the Vampire going underground, discovering home shopping on the internet and filling the caves with IKEA furniture still has me smiling. Sam Legg's narration was superb really bringing everything to life.... or should it be death! LOL! Highly Recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.

Great story!
A laugh out loud story of the Prince of Darkness trying to deal with the development of his Transylvanian castle into a horror theme park. There is a mix of supernatural characters, including the Count, his hunchback servant, a werewolf, Frankenstein and other demons navigating the modern world and current technology. I laughed when thr vampire Count gets ready for his first date in 500 years. Steve McElhenny hits the bullseye again! The narration by Sam Legg is wonderful as he created unique voices, accents and inflections for the equally unique characters. Highly recommended!

Pure entertainment
This is one of those books you are loathed to put down simply because it's pure entertainment. The plot is wonderfully farcical and peppered throughout with the various archetypes of classic horror. McElhenny's easy flowing writing style will keep you enchanted for hours through liberal use of puns, alliteration and a plethora of other comedic methods. Add to this the excellent narrative talents of Sam Legg and you've a match made in heaven. All in all if you're looking for a decent chuckle after a boring day then this book has it in spades.

This book is based on insult-comedy.
I received this audiobook directly from the author in return for a fair and honest review.
Narration was fine throughout. I did not enjoy the book, although I would probably try another book by this narrator.
The understanding of satire has become really bleak and inaccurate lately. This book is marked as humor and satire in some places. Terry Pratchett knew how to wield satire. This book is not adequate satire. It's perhaps "satirizing" the genre but in an offensive way that uses insult-based humor throughout that I did not find funny.
It has taken me some time to ready this review due to personal circumstances. I appreciate receiving the review copy from Steve McElhenny himself, but the content was not for me.

Draculand
Audible:Turning Radulacs castle into a theme park may be more work than it seems when some of the denizens want to stick to the old ways.A fun romp with a pompus grandmaster. Sam Legg was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Hilarious!
I loved it. It was very funny, the plot truly ingenious , with never a dull moment. The characters were brilliant. The narration was just right, the voice clear and clipped with a definite touch of humour and irony.
