Summary
Als er an Biehls Privatschule kommt, hat Peter schon sieben Waisenhäuser und Kinderheime hinter sich. Eigentlich gilt er als minderbegabt und unfähig zu stabilen Gefühlsbeziehungen. Aber einem zwei Jahre älteren Mädchen, Katarina, steckt er heimlich Briefe zu. "Augenblicke, die werden wie die Ewigkeit" steht drauf. Für den verhaltensgestörten kleinen August übernimmt er die Beschützerrolle und trifft sich immer öfter heimlich mit Katarina, um zu beraten, wie sie ihm helfen können. Katarina stellt seltsame Fragen: Warum hat die Schule August überhaupt aufgenommen? Warum haben alle Lehrer ihre Kinder von der Schule entfernt? Und was hat Augusts Aufnahme mit den übrigen Veränderungen zu tun - mit den verschärften Sicherheitsmaßnahmen und den psychologischen Tests? Dahinter scheint ein geheimer Plan zu stecken...
