Good standalone addition to the series

At first I was afraid I would be lost since this is the fourth book of the series. I took a chance since it is standalone and I didn’t have any problems following the story. Great description of Kalev. He is both frightening and very, very sexy. Women seemed to flock to him and were very forward (his magic power). Thea had it rough with her crazy, abusive father who kept caged wolves. She was drawn to the wolves. One night when her father was out, she snuck into the building that housed the wolves and found people there. Her father caught her and things got even worse for her from there. Her father abused her right on the spot when he found her. Before he caught her, she freed a woman but when she tries to free a boy, that’s when he catches her and shoots the boy. Everything goes downhill from there because the woman/wolf who escaped called the police. The police take her and her father into custody. There were many dead people in the building. They think she is a serial killer like her father because her prints were on the feed bags. After being placed in an institution, she finally said what they wanted to hear because when she told the truth, they thought she was crazy. Eventually, she gets out and starts her life but she carries her secret with her.

When Kalev sees her, he/his wolf, wanted her but she was human. Thea turns out to be a very strong woman (clearly she was an alpha female) and Kalev slowly gains her trust. This book kept me involved from the beginning and I feel Ms. Sex did a great job in writing this story. Her character descriptions were excellent—I could picture the scenes as well as Kalev and Thea in my mind.

This book moves along at a really good pace. There is romance and suspense. Sarah Puckett did a good job with the narration. I was given this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Finding her true self.

I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I'm not sure if this is the last book of this series but if it is what a fantastic ending. This story is filled with treachery, deceit, an insane father, friendship, awakening of whom you really are, and a powerful love. Thea was deceived most of her life and convicted of a crime that she never committed. This was all due to her father. When Kalev comes into her life, can she actually trust this sexy man who has his own secrets? Thea's journey will finally reveal the truth about herself. This will be a dangerous and painful process. She must accept herself in order to have Kalev in her life. Nikki Sex has created a memorable story that will hold your attention the whole time.

Sarah Puckett takes Nikki's words and creates a very compelling storytelling experience. She immediately draws the listener into the story. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Excellence continues.

By now you should know what to expect from Nikki Sex she is nearly a master of erotic supernaturalia she neatly blends a riveting supernatural story along with the romance and erotica, this is no exception, The characters remain interesting and sex scenes remain visceral and graphic. The story progresses in some predictable ways and in some ways you may not have been expecting from the earlier books. Again if you liked the earlier books in this series this book will not let you down.

pretty good for what it is

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was surprisingly good. I had 2 big reservations going in. The first was that this was the 4th book in a series and I was worried Id' be totally lost. I'll admit that there were some pieces of the story I didn't fully understand (mostly backstory stuff) but I still followed what was currently happening and enjoyed the story. That leads me to the other reservation I had, which is balance. Knowing this is classified as Romance Erotica, there is always a large chance that there won't be anything but sex and relationship angst. Thankfully, the author does a good job of balancing that stuff (and there was certainly a good portion of it) with action (of the non-sexual variety) and actual story line. The narration by Sarah Puckett is very well done. She does a great job of providing voices for characters and making the story engaging.

Good Read

Demon Wolf (Demon Blessed #4) was a good read by Nikki Sex. Thea was raised by her serial killer father. She craves connection but knows that love isn't an option for her. She won't risk getting too close to anyone else. She never expected that Kalev would find a way to sneak into her heart. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Please Please Please Nikki Sex, I need you to put book 5 on audio. I am so tempted to continue reading the books on my kindle or something. But the audios for all five books were FAN-Friggin-tastic!!!! Initially, I was a little disappointed when I realized that this book didn't focus on Jan. But after a few chapters, I realized that Thea might actually be my twin soul (lol). My first boyfriend said a very similar thing that Kalev said. He said he loved my bad attitude and he thought it was sexy as hell. I haven't thought about that in years. But that is exactly what an amazing author does. The characters are all so relatable. And considering that they are vamps, werewolf, and demon blessed, that couldn't have been easy. And I LOVE this narrator. The book I just started also happens to be narrated by Sarah Puckett. She is fantastic. She must have a similar taste in books as me because she has narrated a ton that I have listened to. And she was just as amazing as always. I am definitely a huge fan! Please, Nikki, make me another Demon Blessed audiobook!

I loved Demon Wolf

Once again a wonderful continued story! The twists and turns in the story make it hard to put down! If you haven't read it listened to the previous books you'll want to first!!

Khalev finds his mate!

Khalev has known who his mate is for a long time. He has felt it to his very core. But she shows no signs of being any type of magic. Which means he could kill her.

Thea a.k.a. Theology Jones was raised by a preacher who abused her. She found out some things about him, and had them removed from her memory so that anything magic made her ill. She grew up thinking she was mentally unstable. She has painted pictures of the Beast Lord and his mate, the Jugulo who took her memories, and even Khalev... all from what she believes nightmares.

This book has so much happening! I enjoyed this entire series, and was glad Khalev got a story of his own!! It’s such a great story.

Sarah Puckett is so good at what she does!!

Always improving

This next book in the serie turns for a totally new character, though the writing style and overall feeling is mostly the same.
The narrator is different from the first 3 books, which helps a lot is separating the characters wile at the same time keeps the same tone of the serie.
In the beginning this seams like a completely independent story of a woman with a problematic past that is courted by her fated mate werewolf, but bit by bit we get to understand how this all connects with the previous books and characters.
This one is a very good story with an interesting plot and amazing new characters, and I can see Nikki Sex writing qualities improving with every new book.
I'm curious about the rest of the serie and if there will be more interaction between all the characters in the series.
This book is a real standalone, but it would be more interesting if you could read the books of the serie in order.

Best book of these series!

Enthralling, perfect ratio of romance and sex. love the strong female character with the depressing past and her equally strong Male counterpart who has recently undergone a trauma of his own. they find each other and heal each others wounds. Beautiful.
