Summary
Learning to program can be a very daunting and intimidating task. I know, I was once in your shoes trying to figure out how the heck I was going to do this crazy thing called code! I remember asking myself questions like where to start, what computer to buy, what language to learn, what books to get, and everything else that went with it. I know the struggle, and that's why I wrote this book to streamline the process and answer all those questions for those individuals just like me. In this book, you will learn:
- What programming is
- How programming is used
- How to debug different errors
- The different types of languages
- Which languages work best for different tasks
- Understanding the basics of programming
- How much math is really involved in programming
- The properties of a well-written program
- Tips and tricks to write code efficiently

Very general
I feel most of this book could be found between a few Wikipedia pages. Nothing on the basics of programming, just what programming is as a whole. Could have included things about what loops arrays and logic statements but did not. If I would have known it was this generic I would not have bought the book.

honestly I don't even know how that was a book
I don't think I learn one thing besides I'm a dummy. this book should of been chapter 1-5, with 6-15 to follow. I mean did I learn to code step by step?

Basic and subjective
Some good information, some was very subjective and misleading. Parts felt like they were being read straight from stack overflow. A little hard to follow as well.

Loved the book! Perfect to listen to while working! Will also get Python book by the same author. Was looking for something very basic and this was perfect! Though I will have to listen to it a couple of times to grasp everything.
