Summary
Colton Wild isn’t just the famous football player everyone sees on their television screen. I met Colton one summer vacation when we lined up on opposite sides of a flag football field. He was the cocky kid with clear blue eyes and a constant smirk. When he picked me up over his shoulder and ran with me the length of the field, I wanted to hate him.
But somehow we were the last two left around the campfire that night. We talked for hours under the stars. And when he kissed me, I didn’t want him to stop. The next morning, I left.
I thought I’d never see him again.
And for ten years, I didn’t.
Sky Rosewood was the one that got away, the fiery redhead with a temper to match.
It felt like way more than a teenage crush, but what did I know back then? Plus she gave me a fake phone number, not to mention a false last name. I tried everything to find her, but it was like she’d disappeared into the ether.
Ten years later, I’m out for my morning beach run and I crash into…Sky Rosewood, just before she gets knocked out by an errant wave. I try to be a gentleman and give her mouth to mouth, but she comes to and tells me off, her temper still intact. And so is my crush.
Except now Sky’s a woman. A beautiful woman who agrees to give me the right number this time.
I’ve got my second chance with the woman I never forgot, and there’s no way I’m letting her get away again. Turns out I shouldn’t have been so cocky...

Got to Love a Wild Man!
Melissa Belle writes a beautiful love story of two people who had met 10 years earlier when but have not seen each other since. Great character development here, both leads have interesting past stories and issues to deal with, especially Skylar. All the making for intense & emotional storylines. Colton was patient and understanding which was a nice touch and added more sweetness to the story. Great start to a series, it was nice to meet the other Wild Men, looking forward to reading more about them! Thank you Melissa Belle for the great read.
The narrators, Jeremy York & Lacy Laurel are awesome! They perform well together and bring the characters & the story to life from the pages to your ears. Both are gifted storytellers with natural talent. Thank you for the great listen!

This was a very touching and heartwarming listen!
I am always up for a story of two people who meet and fight through battles together. Sky and Colton have a lot to conquer and their relationship may or may not survive the obstacles they face. I won’t spoil, but this was a wonderful story and worth the read!!!
Lacy Laurel and Jeremy York... need I say more!?

Wonderful story
Colton and his skittish childhood sweetheart made an interesting couple. Their journey to a happy ever after definitely had some ups and downs. I loved Colton’s relationship with his cousins and would love to read more about them. The narration was fine although I found some of the pronunciation surprising.

Hi Again Mr. Wilde
I enjoyed this story. One of the narrators was new to me. I had to learn their style. I enjoyed how protective Colton was of Skye.I thought it was great how the author talked about mental health. Made it known that it is ok to ask for help. This was a great second chance at love story. I can't wait to continue this series.

So boring!
I got so bored and distracted listening to this, and I found the narrator Lacy Laurel annoying too, especially when she does male voices. Insta-love, no building chemistry, not feeling any emotional connection to the characters, and frustrating skittish Daddy issues mean I’ll be returning this book.

Awesome second chance romance
Great second chance romance. Sky and Colton reconnect after 10 years. He lost her once and is determined to not let her get away from him again. This was a sweet emotional read. Well written story and characters. I found myself rooting for Sky and Colton to make it to their happily ever after. New author for me and I look forward to checking out the rest of the Wild Men. I hope that their stories have the same magic as this one.I
The narrators scored a touchdown with this one. They drew me in and held me captive throughout the whole story with how they brought these characters to life. I felt all the emotions. Great story and narration.

Colton
This book has so many emotions in it! I love the idea of finding one another after 10 years being apart and still feeling all those feelings and passion towards each other. Colton is so understanding and willing to go slow to make Sky comfortable in her own skin and willing to show her emotions as well. These two are so sweet together and I hope to see more of them in this series. The epilogue was fantastic as well. Narration in this book was spot on!

Loved it. the narration was awesome
I so enjoyed this book. It's rare that I can actually listen to an entire book in one sitting. Life always gets in the way. Not in this instance. I actually declined calls, etc. to just continue with the book. I thoroughly enjoy stories like Colton's and Sky's. "the one that got away" stories. The author did a good job bringing this story with enough of a freshness to it that it didn't feel like you knew everything that was going to happen. The narrators did it for me. I love Jeremy York and Lacy Laurel and am looking forward to more from them. Great book.
