Summary

Can she spread Christmas cheer in Cornwall this year?

All Meredith Verran has ever wanted is to escape the holiday season without having to wear a Christmas jumper. Her new job at the cosy gift shop in a picturesque Cornish tourist spot is making it impossible for her to maintain her Scrooge-like manner.

With their seasonal hampers on everyone’s wish list, Meredith must paste on a smile and fake some holiday cheer. Then she meets handsome new arrival, Finn, who wishes it could be Christmas every day and wants her to feel the same way, too.

Can she embrace the holly and the ivy before the decorations are packed away for another year?

Not a part of the Cornish Cream Tea Bus Series

So disappointed as I thought this book was part of the Cornish Cream Tea Bus series and had just listened to them all again in readiness. However when I got over this I began to enjoy the book as a stand alone and as usual totally enjoyable

A lovely Christmas story

Once I had realised this wasn't a follow on to the cornish cream tea bus, I settled into the story and thoroughly enjoyed it

Brilliant book loved the story and the narrator.

Have now listened to all her books, am a firm fan, indulged in this one over the Christmas Period and it didn’t disappoint. Particularly liked how new characters to the village were added, and the odd old ones popped up from time to time.

The whole series well written

Love the Cream Tea stories, they are well written, well narrated. Like the atmosphere created, enjoy the romance of it all.

gorgeous Christmas listen

another beautiful addition to the Cornish cream tea bus series. This story is set in a different Cornish town with different characters although e do come into contact with the original characters in the series briefly. As per the other books, this is a delight to listen to, and the story is really beautiful. I highly recommend it for a lovely Christmassy or wintery read/listen. It definitely makes me want to rush out to the beautiful Cornish coastline and buy a hamper full of beautiful Cornish Christmas goodies, but I will have to make do with this beautiful story instead this year.
