Apalling

Not only read by a robot, but apparently written by one too. Full of errors, stilted language, repitition and mispronunciation. If this was your first audio book experience you'd never use Audible again. Truly terrible, money back please.

Needs an Editor

Either sloppily written or sloppily read. Frequently uses words that are incorrect, e.g. “cursorary.” It may contain excellent chess insight further in, but I could only tolerate 2 chapters worth of this mess.

Very annoying

So many mispronunciations and errors. I have 1482 fide rapid rating. So I have some idea in what I say. And even though I have heard the beginning, it's driving me mad. For example, the narrator pronounces theSicilian defenseas silican defense.
The most common response to Black's 3...a6(morphy defence) in the Ruy lopez is either Ba4 or Bxc6(exchange variation). But this book only talks about Bxc6 and Bc4, with no mention of Ba4.
White plays Nf6 on move 3.

Incredible guide

I have always considered the game of chess very stimulated and fascinating, I knew the basic rules of how the various pieces move but I was not a good player. This manual, in addition to obviously explaining the basic rules of chess even for those who do not know them, explains how to develop the game which are the techniques and moves that we can use to have control of the game, indicates which are the best moves to open the game how to control it and win.
