This will happen at some point!
I have made many changes to my career life over the years. I started out in the restaurant industry. Like many of my family who are chefs I began down this path. I soon came to learn that while I had the gift for cooking, I didn't have the passion that is required. While working as a short order cook I started down a new path by joining the military. Now honestly I could have been a cook in the military as well but I wanted something that would challenge me. So I selected world wide communications, that lead me to my current career in information technology which was also not a straight line but I won't bore you with those details. This book gives very sound and practical advise to anyone that is considering changing careers. The narration is well done and the book with very well written and organized.

A Guide for Career Changers Like Me
After 10 years in marketing, I felt stuck. The spark was gone, and the thought of another decade in the same role left me uninspired. But the idea of starting over, going back to school, was daunting. Then I found this book by Joel Roman. It was the roadmap I needed to embark on this exciting, yet scary, new adventure. It is a treasure trove of practical advice for career changers. The chapter on overcoming learning fears really hit home. It talked about imposter syndrome, that feeling like a fake, which I totally experience! But the book offered tips to silence those doubts and build confidence as a learner. Now, I'm tackling online courses with a newfound sense of purpose.
