This books ranks very highly among the instructional audiobooks I've read. The information is clear, well structured and interesting. I learnt a lot but it was a pleasure to do so.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cats: Cat Care- Kitten Care- How To Take Care Of And Train Your Cat Or Kitten?

I really enjoyed the section that was dedicated to finding out whether or not a cat is the right pet for you.. It takes into account important factors that you may not have considered when thinking about your new pet.

Have you listened to any of Joshua Mackey’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I haven't listened to him before but I'll definitely be sure to listen again.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

It would probably be an instructional video over a film but the tagline would be something like Have a paw-some time, not a cat-astophe.

The book takes you through the process of getting a cat step by step, making as easy as possible for the reader. Whilst it is a fantastic beginner’s guide, it also gives hints and tips for current cat owners on how to keep your cat healthy and happy, something which should be of utmost importance for all owners.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about getting a cat, or wants some tips on how to give their current cat the best life possible. Fantastic.

Great Book To Learn Tips About Our Pet Cats

This book is just what I was looking for! It contains a lot of tips and strategies that are very, very useful when it comes to our pet cats. My boyfriend and I were planning to get a cat for quite some time already but before we actually made our decision, we had to consider a few things. We were hesitant on whether to get a male or a female cat, a kitten or a grown cat, didn’t know which breed is ideal, and most importantly, we were unsure if we have enough time to take care of it.

Those questions were answered after I stumbled upon this amazing book. It has shed us some light and helped us decide. Now, it has already been one week since we got our kitten and we are really happy with our decision! Every detail in this book is definitely of great help in giving you the idea starting from how to properly look after them, feed them, understand them, what their needs are, how to keep an eye on their health, up to even the most specific questions running in your head right now!

If you are a cat owner or still indecisive on whether to get a cat or not, I highly recommend this book!

Cofurrs the basics

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to any of my friends. It really does cover the basics of everything you need to know before getting a cat. It is informative about the traits of the different breeds as well as the thought process needed to own one of these beautiful animals.

The book is as professionally written as any cat owning manual I've read before.

As a cat lover, I really like how the author points out the value of an older cat; a cat who is not a kitten but is still totally adorable and loveable.

Excellent Guide to Caring for your Cat

This book is excellent at breaking down everything you need to successfully look after a cat. As a cat owner myself I really enjoyed how the author managed to cover a range of topics and provide advice on each.

The chapters on why a cat may or may not be suitable for you and questions to think about when choosing a cat are essential listening. Likewise, the parts on how to look after a kitten and integrating a new cat in your home are very informative and provided me with some great new ideas and facts.

My favorite section of the book was where you learn more about what to feed your cat and the ideal nutritional diet. The detail here is a great source of information and I thought was excellent at explaining what a cat needs and how to provide it.

So much information packed in one guide. This is a must-listen to book for anyone who is thinking about getting or who has cats.

Ace McCloud - "Cats: Cat care-Kitten Care-How to take care of and train your cat or kitten" is a very useful guide for all cat lovers. A book give you a complete compendium how to look after cats in all ages, how to feed them, play with them and make them your friends forever.

Ace McCloud provide you very handy and essential tips of how to choose your cat, how to make a suitable room and surrounding for cats, what to do when your cat is not well or misbehaved.
Narration is very friendly, easy to follow and understand. It is like a wonderful story that you and your family and of course your cat love.

Each chapter discover new aspects of looking after cats. I
In McCloud's book you find out why cats are different than others pets, how are they relationships with others pets, how are they habits and nature. Also very important how to care of cats, when go to vet and what is important to have a healthy, playful and happy cat.

A very handy book for those who want to have cats

The book has a simple format, with numerous chapters about choosing, housing, feeding, grooming, and understanding your cat, with additional chapters on health, first aid, and caring for a sick cat. The chapters are short, with basic information. It's a good book to listen when adopting a cat for the first time, but it's also a handy reference manual, to answer questions that pop up from time to time. Overall, I liked the book and think that it's a useful present from the vet.

Exellent cats care guide, worth every penny!!

As a cat lover and a brand new owner of a kitten I got myself this audiobook as a Christmas treat and would like to recommend it since it was a really good choice.

If you are one of those people “naturally drown to cats”, mentioned by author Ace McCloud you will certainly find his reading interesting and most of all helpful.

The big advantage of McCloud’s “Cats” guide is its substantive and constructive content. It gives you exactly what you need and what you’ve paid for, no needless talks. Within an hour author answers all the most important questions any cat owner or lover should be bothered about. From how to choose your pet and where to get it, through its further breeding, feeding, grooming, hygiene, training, bonding with…all the essential step by step.

Without any hidden product placement (so annoyingly abused nowadays) McCloud shares with his readers valuable clues considering cat’s and kitten’s care, giving away some helpful advices and solutions coming from his own vast experience as long term cats lover.

And for indecisive pet amateurs, Ace McCloud’s book gives a number of valid reasons for why a cat is a right choice of your live companion and explains how fascinating, magical creature it is.

Yes - the book is very informative, it's only an hour and covers the most important topics related to taking care and training adult cats and kittens.

Yes if they are planning to get an adult cat or a kitten and don't know where to start. I wouldn't say this book is the best for people, who have already have some sort of knowledge. It covers basics that you need it know and it's perfect if you love animals but have no idea how to take care of them yourself.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I liked that the author took care to inform listeners about the importance of proteins in the cat food and that they should come from animal rather than plant sources.

Nope, it's clealy an informative book and I have a hard time imagining putting it into a TV series.

Get this book if you want a cat and you are completly new to the topic. It starts from complete basics about what type of cat and how to choose it, through how to take care of them, how to train them, their diet and play time. It's money well spend, becuase the audio book is really short but super informative - no additional, unnecessarily information. Pretty good for a gift if your friend is thinking about getting a new furry friend!

Excellent Guide for New Cat Owners!!

We have never had a cat before so I felt anxious when my son said he wanted a cat this year for his birthday. Both me and my husband are borderline OCD so it was a very difficult decision for us to have a messy little kitten roaming around the house shedding fur all over the place. Luckily we found this audio book which helped us decide which cat we wanted and how to look after it but most importantly how to train it and clean after it. It has not been very long but we are following every guideline from the book and so far things are running quite smoothly at our house. The book is so concise and simple that even our 5 years old listened to it and now participates in the training of the little Bengal kitty.

A great "cats for beginners" book.

"Cats" looks at the journey towards getting a cat, from the first consideration of which breeds to consider, to what equipment you will need before you bring your cat home. It asks - and answers - plenty of questions to make you consider all aspects of your cats care, daily routines and safety, in and around your property. Potential pitfalls, such as human allergies, are discussed, and information is given on how to ensure your new kitten can quickly settle into your home and your life.

A great introduction to the nuts and bolts of a cat's needs and care - recommended to anyone coming new to cat ownership or needing a refresher about those exuberant crazy days of kittenhood. Ace McCloud shares some useful training tips to help you to overcome any hiccups and also suggests situations where it might be better to consider an adult cat who needs a new home, rather than a baby.
