Dead man floating!
Fiona Fleming is in so much trouble. Her recently inherited bed and breakfast might not actually be hers thanks to the underhanded misdealings of the local real estate bully. Despite her grandmother's last will and testament, Fee might be out of luck and on the street before she even gets settled. But when her new enemy floats belly up in her koi pond, she's the prime suspect in his murder! Can she uncover who the real killer is before the smoking-hot new sheriff puts her behind bars instead of asking her out on a date?

A mixed review of this cozy mystery.
On the positive side, this is a light mystery and one for total escape. The story moves along at a good pace. The narration is outstanding.
The weaknesses are that it’s very formula and the characters stereotypical. This isn’t so obvious with stronger cozy mysteries. My last two points are probably a matter of taste but I got very tired of hearing about the dog’s flatulence. I didn’t think it was all that funny. Also, what the main character approves of doing to her nemesis in the end, I found a bit too mean spirited and gross.

Voice was all wrong
Ugh I hate writing a bad review. The main character was ridiculous and it was hard to listen to.

Sick and tired of being fed lesbian agenda
I am really disgusted with getting almost through a book only to have the gay and lesbian agenda thrown in my face. You will find two women passionately kissing in this story. I don’t know how much further it goes, as I stopped reading at this point. I will return this book. Keep it to yourself but don’t put it in my face!

Horrible narration, though story was good.
I almost quit because the narrator read everything with a pissed off tone for the 1st half of the book. it was grating on my nerves. but overall, I enjoyed the story. Interesting characters.

Please put more from this series on audible!
This book was pure fun. Well read, felt like the main character was right beside me telling the story.
And of course, the pug, Petunia. Well if you love pugs you’ll love Petunia! She’s as real as the one sitting on my lap.
You’ll enjoy this and Audible!!!! Please make more from the series with this same reader!!!
