Great atmospheric story
Great story and very well performed. Seemed to end very suddenly but really enjoyed it.

Utterly gripping
I devoured this series of episodes over a few evenings eager to find out what happens next. The actors brought the characters to life and made it all seem more real. One of the best dramatizations I've listened to for a long time. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable mystery with good voice acting
I have really enjoyed all the material I've listened to from this author. Likewise, I found this series an enjoyable listen. It has a an enjoyable plot which reminded me a little of a reworking of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution. It's not necessarily groundbreaking, but a lot of fun.

good story
enjoyed this twisty tale. loved the music however it was disproportionately loud compared to the dialogue so had to keep turning volume down then back up.

Fun Radio Noir
This is the second Louis Nowra story I’ve listened to and I want more. Compelling, unique characters solving mysteries across complicated relationships Down Under. I am entertained.

not listened to this, but wanted to give a quick THANK YOU for the explicit content warning. too many books never offer such a "heads up."
I attempt to raise my family in a society that doesn't think twice about such things . at least with certain warning labels we can filter before buying. greatly appreciated!!!

now, this is how you tell the story. I did not see that coming at the ending, I loved every minute of it, I've binged listened to this whole entire series and the game, butler is definitely my favorite character, hands down, good job, I'm going to listen to another book by this author.

Loved it! Never saw the ending coming. Great story! Would love to see it as a movie...although the gay subplot andp twists seem unnecessary.

Loved it!!
The pace and momentum of the story kept me intrigued the whole while. And, the performances were superb!! I find myself I thinking what will Beatrice and Tom be up to next! A great story!!
