Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
The ultimate guide to boosting your mental and physical health by reconnecting with the way we, as humans, were supposed to live, eat, sleep, breathe and move.
The bright lights, late nights and constant hustle of our modern world have detached us from the way we, as humans, were supposed to live, connect and thrive.
Be More Human explores the importance of reconnecting with our natural state and help us learn how to meet our true needs and live more naturally.
Tony Riddle (@thenaturallifestylist) explores how the majority of us do not sit, breathe, eat, sleep or move as nature intended, and so we're actively going against our biology. This audiobook will help us all to reassess our habits and tap back into our natural rhythms and ways of being to optimise our mental and physical wellbeing, reduce stress, sit correctly, breathe better and improve our quality of sleep.
Tony is committed to helping us reconnect with how we were built to live in a way that can be incorporated into our hectic, modern lifestyles. His expertise makes this a transformative, empowering and practical guide to getting back in tune with a happier, healthier self to discover physical, emotional, mental and spiritual strength and wellbeing.
We can't all live in nature, but we can all live more naturally and learn how to thrive instead of just survive.

pretty good but...
This book needs a PDF for all the exercises mentioned! It is difficult to remember all of them and then have to go back through the book to get them again.

Must have
Very useful content. Rational and helpful. Easy to understand statements underpinned by evidences or stories. A bit monoton voice, good to listen along with chill music.

A great listen
Brilliant. Absolutely thought provoking, in so many different ways. Non-prescriptive, but encourages you to think for yourself, supported by a host of interesting and inspiring information. I would love for there to be a book two!

A book of faith
I like Tony and I like his message. there are so many great concepts in this book. I don't feel he does half of them justice though. very light on the science and more a book about faith in a natural attitude. there is a lot of over lap between things that work and things that are natural but Tony let's some complete rubbish sneak in under the banner of naturalism.

Interesting but limited
I found it interesting too hear Tony’s story and to learn about his approach and techniques. They stimulated some useful thoughts for me. However, I found it limited in terms of what I could take away practically from it. I also found it offputting that it contains so much pseudoscience.

Realistic and inspiring
Tony gives simple inspiring steps towards being more human, through breathing, moving, eating and moving. I loved that he does not fall into solutions, instead he offers food for thought from which you are invited to go on and make your own research.
