Summary

He is everything she doesn’t want, so why does she want him so badly?

From the New York Times best-selling author Penny Reid

One week.

Private beach.

Invisible girl.

Jerk-faced bully.

What’s the worst that could happen?

Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke - bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor - who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.

Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family's billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water.

When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?

The story was pretty good, but...

Not a bad story, college “it” guy/rich jock/BMOC pursues socially awkward highly intelligent and unassuming girl (possibly with aspergers?). My dislike has nothing to do with the actual storyline, but with them selling half a book at full price and leaving the reader hanging. When you purchase this book, you only get the first 5 hours, and then the story literally gets cut off in the dead middle, so you have to buy the other half of the book at full price to hear the end of the story.
Jerk move, no thanks.

The worse book I've ever listened too.

I couldn't finish this book I got so mad. we are way passed the age where plucking some eye brows and dressing up for some guy gives women worth or makes her beautifu. That men determine if we are worth something while they act like total animals but its fine because they are good looking. Your writing set women back to years.

Well dang!!

I love Reid’s work; HOWEVER, I am NOT a fan of a storyline spanning multiple books! I’ now guessing all three books of this series have to be read to reach the conclusion. I don’t mind it when it’s stated as such, but at least be honest and sell as a collection. I can’t possibly rate the overall story or the storyline when I don’t have the entire story. Bummed out!

Absolute Favorite!

Why is this story so awesome. I don't believe that I didn't leave a review before! this is my Audible equivalent to Netflix's "To all the boys I loved before" ...the adult version of course. I'm pretty sure I've listened at least 3 times, I'm wondering where my repeat badge is Audible. I love Parker, she's so quirky. I lol when she refers to her "pants". Narration is hilarious 😂 Fiona is great, and animated.

good start

enjoyed the characters and the story but hate that it ends with a cliffhanger. it seems as if the author says, "okay 150 pages, let's end at this chapter and start a new book!"

Waste of a credit!

What is this? A third of a story? Story is cute and narrator is excellent, but charging a full credit for a little piece of a story is misleading and ridiculous.

It's half a book. Don't waste the credit

not much more to say. it's a credit for half a book. I'm annoyed I spent the credit on it.

Just half a story

It’s not that many chapters and not enough happens to make this a series. Don’t waste your credits, this book should’ve actually been just one and instead is spread in three

Not full story, don’t waste your money!

This doesn’t end with a cliff hanger, it is ends half-way through. Don’t waste your credits/money unless you want to spend 2 more credits or pay for 2 more books to actually complete the story.
