Summary

Carl is a loving husband, a wonderful father, a bloke's bloke; then he ends his life.

For his family and friends, the effects are shocking and life-changing.

For Carl, it's much deeper than that, as he is taken on a journey from his childhood, where his issues first began, through adulthood and the present to see how they manifested, and into the world that continued after his death.

Carl's enlightenment, education, and understanding of how he was battling mental illness is something he must come to terms with as he watches the ripples and echoes of his death impact others.

It is through understanding that Carl is able to live again.

I enjoyed this even more than reading the book!!

My original review still stands but just to add that being able to sit back and listen made it even more enjoyable…

A
sad story with a very powerful meaning! We can never know what passes through the minds of someone who sadly takes their own life but if this story could make just one person who was considering suicide change their outlook then it’s done exactly what the author hopes for. I really hope that this story can reach as many people as possible and help whoever needs it.❤️
