Sophia

Heartfelt & Sweet!
This was a lighthearted, emotionally charged, sweet, and steamy listen. It was perfect! It was aptly titled "A Chance Encounter" with a total stranger and the possibility of leading to much more, finding real love and happiness. Once again, Nikki Ash captivated her readers/listeners with her terrific storytelling. Despite being a dedicated and hardworking single mom, life hadn't been kind to Sophia. She neither imagined nor anticipated a man like Easton coming into her life and getting her pregnant. Easton, a famous musician/singer, wasn't expecting a baby either. My heart warmed with how devoted he was to her. Easton and Sophia's story is an incredibly engaging romance, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lee Daniels and Theo Sinclair did a stellar job portraying Easton and Sophia, capturing the nuances of their personalities, emotion, and genuine connection. They made me adore the characters even more. A Chance Encounter was a fantastic listen, one I'm highly recommending.

Best of the love and lyrics
I enjoyed all of the love & lyrics series but think this one is my favourite. Worth a listen if you enjoy losing yourself in fairy tail romance beefed up with some xxx! Easton is a Prince in shining armour and despite her strength and best efforts, Sophia is that damsel in distress, needing to be rescued.

The beginning
For those who have read/listened to Total Chaos will recognise Sophia and Easton as being Camden’s parents, this is their story of how they met etc. fantastically narrated by Lee and Theo, they brought the characters to life.

Excellent
Excellent. Had a nice slow burn feel but was actually the complete opposite. I loved the chemistry between the 2 MC. And the 2 POV worked really well with these characters. Recommend this book!

My Thoughts on A Chance Encounter

The more I’m hearing of Nikki Ash’s work, the more I want to hear. She’s not afraid to shy away from some of the darker aspects of dating, relationships, and marriage. She can write about some of the things that drive a person from a relationship and have them hesitant or down right afraid to get involved again. But she does it in a way that I personally can empathize with the character who was hurt and at no point have I ever been thinking “I just don’t know why they put up with that”.
Even in this story, while I did have a moment of “wow, again?” It was also followed by my realizing that the situations came about in two completely different ways. I felt that the leading lady Sophia, in a lot of ways went from being young and inexperienced to protecting and sheltering herself and her daughter to the point that she didn’t allow herself any relationship learning experiences and also had quite a bit of pent-up frustrations that clouded her thinking for a moment too long the second time around. But I respected the heck out of how driven she was and that she pushed herself to pursue her dreams despite some very big changes to how she thought that road would go.
Easton was pretty impossible to not fall in love with. He was quickly shown to be compassionate, open minded, and fiercely protective. I liked that he didn’t try to trample all over Sophia’s independence and was patient with her even when frustrated with some of her responses and choices. He became a guy you rooted for him to get passed her defenses because you knew he’d be good for her. And of course, him with Sophia’s daughter Kendall was just too adorable.
This book was really good from beginning to end. Their meet cute moment was definitely a first for me and while what came next was one of my few moments of feeling that the problems were a complication of their own making, I still enjoyed the story telling as a whole.
The narration was pretty good as well. Both were voices I haven’t heard a lot of but I didn’t have any complaints about their performance.

Such a sweet story
Secret pregnancies and single moms is definitely not my preferred type of story to listen to but sometimes it's a nice change from my usual tropes. This one was such a pleasant surprise. I loved everything about it from the sweet storyline to the adorable little girl. Easton and Sophia were both lovable characters that had an instant connection from their very first encounter all the way to their happily ever after. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cute story with fairly low angst. Lee Daniels and Theo Sinclair both did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

killing a Bee
a great story of an encounter in the park. Easton met Sofie all because a bee landed on him. they shared a passionate night. she then slipped away. She then sets out to find him. imagine her surprise when it's a famous musician. this story takes us on a roller-coaster ride 9f their relationship.
the narrators were both new to me. enjoyed listening.

I really enjoyed this book, I loved the way they met and how they met back up. I loved her daughter she was the sweetest.
She was such a good mam and some time thought she just needed to ignore the issue and move on. It like she listened.

Great story but a big recording mistake!
This story is done well however don’t listen to chapter 4 because it’s really chapter 20. It gives away a big part of the future story when the book is just getting started. Otherwise it’s still a pretty good story with good narration.

How it all started!
I just finished listening to this and I loved going back to how it all started for the Blackwood family. I listened to the Chaos series first so this was refreshing look into the parents who played such a pivotal role in the main character's lives in the other series. I really enjoyed it and think it's worth the listen either before the Chaos series or after.

Wonderful Story!
Easton is a famous rockstar who ends up in a struggle with a bee, but he's saved when Sophia sees the "fight" and kills said bee with her sandals. This is the beginning of a sweet, emotional story with a slight bit of angst from a devious ex. It's a phenomenal rockstar book in the Raging Chaos world, where many of the side characters are familiar to the reader and are the focus of the series. When Easton falls first, he has to convince Sophia that she'll fit into his world, and it takes almost to the very end before her trust in him is complete. Sophia's daughter, Kendall, is the star of the story with her love of music and relationship with Easton.
Lee Daniels and Theo Sinclair do a marvelous job with the narration. Their dynamic, well-modulated voices bring each of the characters to life with unique personalities and emotions.

I knew this would be amazing
After "meeting" Easton and Sophia in the other books in the series I knew I'd love them. I adored how invested he was in their relationship and how quickly he accepted Kendall.
this has been a fantastic series.

Omgosh one of my faves
For some reason so many books are coming up as suggestions that I have never seen before and I am so happy as I have listened to so many that I was starting to get bored. That is until this amazing story. The second I read what it was about. It captured my attention, and that was all it took. This is a great book by an author I haven’t heard of before. Well, I know now and I’m excited to see what else she has to offer and amazing stories.

Can't seem to get enough of this series...
Secrets … but not really lies … and another super sweet ‘meet-cute’ only add to this series I’ve already become addicted to.
It was very well done, especially the way it was sort of a trip back in time, but didn’t really feel like it, yet still plausible. (It may sound weird but without spoiling anything, I’ll leave it at that.)
Features a strong, relatable female lead and an absolutely smitten, super sweet popstar, and let’s not forget one of the most adorable fictional little girls I’ve ever ‘met’.
It was also fun to read about a protective, but not-alpha male. The sweet ones can be fierce too, and this bit was oh-so-satisfying.
I think I’ve now consumed this entire series and overall, continuity is on-point.
4 stars.

Sophia and Easton had one night together and it left both with different reasons to seek each other out. Easton is going to be surprised when he does find her. Sophia will be shocked too. When she realizes who he really is.💕❤️😍💕😍

Sweet story
