Having been a postman, an architect, a university professor and a community planner, Sarah Holding is now a full-time author. She lives in Surrey in a very old house house with her husband and her three children. She loves vegan food, good coffee and modern jazz. Since her time travel adventure trilogy ('SeaBEAN', 'SeaWAR' and 'SeaRISE') was first published in 2013/14, Sarah has given workshops and talks at more than 150 schools, libraries and festivals, and the trilogy was republished in a new compendium edition in 2018. There is now also an audiobook of the first book in the trilogy, 'SeaBEAN', narrated by the author. 'CHAMELEON', Sarah's YA cli-fi novel set during the fall of Atlantis, came out in June 2020, and is about three genetically engineered humans trying to survive an earlier period of intense climate change. Sarah's novels fall within the genre of 'clifi' or climate fiction. During lockdown, Sarah started writing poems for children, and her first collection entitled 'How to Write a Poem and some other poems' was published on National Poetry Day in October 2021.
