Sally Saylor De Smet

Sally Saylor De Smet

Sally De Smet was born in Nashville, Tennessee but lived in various cities as the daughter of a Naval officer. She was the shy little kid spending a lot of time in her room dreaming, drawing, and writing stories. Her father told her at a young age that she should be a psychologist because of her curiosity and listening skills. She lost him at an early age, but never forgot his advice. Her books have a psychological component as she weaves fiction and psychology into a compelling narrative. Her work has been endorsed by the psychiatric community as a great read for those interested in human emotions and survival under seemingly impossible conditions.
