Richard L Spangler was born on July 14, 1955, in Norfolk, Virginia. He has lived in the Hampton Roads Area of Virginia his entire life. Richard came to know Jesus in August of 1969 and Baptized in the Holy Spirit in November of 1969. Richard is an ordained minister and has been in active ministry since 1977. He has served as an assistant pastor and pastor. He is a Prophet and Teacher with a strong healing anointing. He has ministered in most of the east coast states and as far west as Texas. He teaches believers the importance of having an intimate relationship with God and how to move in the Spiritual Giftings of the Holy Spirit. He also facilitates Spiritual Gifts Seminars and Leadership Training Seminars. He writes a blog and has written devotions for CBN.com. and articles for Elijah List.com Richard L Spangler is the founder of Lion’s Voice Ministries. He is co-founder and administrator of the Mid-Atlantic Region Intercessory Prayer Network on Facebook. He has worked for the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) since August 2004. The purpose of the ministry is to teach believers to have a intimate relationship with God and to learn who they are in Christ. Also to teach believers to hear God's voice for themselves. Then, to be activated in and use the Spiritual Gifts given to us by God. He married his wife Dorthy, August 11, 1979, at the Rock Church in Virginia Beach Virginia. They have two beautiful daughters Mary and Sarah and a Granddaughter Parker Joy.
