Born to a newspaper editor and ER nurse, Patrick Greene grew up overhearing harrowing stories from both occupations. The video boom and splatterpunk movement of the eighties further informed his aesthetic and philosophy, as he navigated adolescence in the strange and wonderful world of Western North Carolina. Greene drifted from job to job in his young adult years, working as a bouncer, actor and martial arts competitor / trainer. All the while, writing tugged at him, finally emerging via a series of short stories and screenplays, followed by his debut novel, 2013's PROGENY from Hobbes End Publishing. More recently Greene has completed The Haunted Hollow Chronicles, a trilogy, for Lyrical Press, and brutal horror actioner UNDER WICKED SKY for Sinister Grin, for which he also adapted the screenplay to the upcoming film.
