Michael Beck is an author and cook who has been passionate about weight loss and the alternatives to dieting for the past two decades.
His books, Bariatric Cookbook, Weight Loss Surgery and Gastric Sleeve concentrate on some of the more radical methods of weight loss, all inspired by his own battle against it, which he finally overcame after years of failure.
Now, Michael lives quietly in the suburbs of Houston, with his wife, two children and their dog, Venus. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, most ball games, reading and walking, while spending time perfecting recipes in his kitchen which are always healthy and nutritious.
