My name is Ken Coulson and I originally hail from Brisbane, Australia. I earned my BA degree in Christian Ministries from The Masters University in Santa Clarita, California; my BS degree in Geology from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio; and my PhD in Earth Science from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. My dissertation is on Cambrian stromatolites/microbialites, their formation and environmental significance. It was while pursuing my degree in geology at Cedarville University that I met and married my beautiful wife, and with whom I now have three wonderful children. My family is currently located in San Diego where I teach as an associate professor of science at San Diego Christian College.
