Katie Bishop is a seasoned sales underwriter for the insurance industry and business author. She has a passion for connecting others and mentoring, and has recently published a business novel with sales expert Doug Reichardt, on how to grow relationships and gain access in business, sales, and life. Their novel entitled "The Best Seller" is written through the perspective of a young professional trying to succeed in her sales career and failing. Along the way she meets several sales mentors who help her to change her perspective and in turn, completely change her business trajectory. Katie was a state champion track and soccer athlete. Katie later attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where she graduated with a BA in engineering sciences. She is also well-known for her activism in local communities, including elevating young women and those who are marginalized. Regardless of the industry, Katie has become a favorite speaker for community groups. The blend of inspiration and education in her keynotes mean that audiences leave feeling excited and equipped to take action in a tangible way. Katie lives in Denver with her husband and their two sons. When she is not speaking or underwriting, Katie can usually be found running with close friends or coaching her kids on and off the field.
