G. Smith was born in a rural town of Kentucky in the late 60’s to a farmer and a housewife. The youngest of 8 children, Smith was no stranger to struggle. Growing up in a poor community with few opportunities, Smith always had a desire for more. So he worked really hard in school, received a scholarship to university, and made his way up the country to study finance on the East Coast at the age of seventeen.
Through his writing, G. Smith is pleased to share the decades of financial knowledge and literacy that he has amassed.
