David has loved writing stories since elementary school. As a child, he received rejection letters from all the popular mystery magazines. Not one to be easily discouraged, he wrote and published a neighborhood newsletter. His paper sold for three cents each and had numerous subscribers. He printed the newsletter himself on a gelatin-based hectograph. Later, as an Air Force pilot, he also wrote articles for the base newspaper. Following that, he also did company newsletters throughout his business career. His KidsMoney.org website was the first of its kind on the internet in December, 1995. Over the next few years, he published three books to help parents teach their kids about money, money management and developing sound financial habits. He'd always wanted to write a novel and began his first in 2011. Shortly after he started, he and his wife bought a bed and breakfast and he didn't write another word for the next six and a half years. When that business sold, he jumped back into writing. He's completed the first draft of six novels. Death Needs No Invitation was finished and published in February, 2022. Later that same year, he published Lady in White.
