In July 2019, Brian completed and published his second E-Book titled: "What Might The Founders Think? State of the Union 2019". It is a light-hearted, hypothetical approach on how some Founders might view President Trump's recent SOTU address to Congress. 72 pages. In March 2018, Brian completed and self-published his first E-Book titled "What Might The Founders Think?: Election 2016"--a light-hearted and informational look at how some Founding Fathers might have reacted to the 2016 Presidential Election Day broadcast, as it happened. Not to mention the modern world including television, social media, 50 states, instant communication and election results, an incumbent black President, a woman Presidential candidate, the Electoral College still in use, and a still-surviving Constitution. Brian Fansler has been a twenty-plus year California state employee, primarily in budgeting and transportation, with four different State departments. Brian has lived most of his life in California and Arizona but also spent the first part of his childhood in Nebraska. Brian was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. Brian has consistently volunteered over the last fifteen years with a variety of non-profit organizations including Women Escaping A Violent Environment, the Cordova Recreation Park District, and the Sacramento County Animal Shelter. Brian currently volunteers with the National Park Service and he is also a member of the Civil War Trust. Brian's passion for history and government first materialized as a high school student as a lead volunteer with the Lincoln Memorial Museum National Youth Committee. In 1994, the committee opened the Lincoln Memorial Museum dedicated to the many civil rights and other historical events that have occurred at the Lincoln Memorial, including Dr. King's infamous "I Have A Dream" speech. Brian's passion for history was reinforced on a recent trip to Philadelphia's Independence Hall and Gettysburg National Park. Brian was one of the members of the general public to participate in a re-enactment of "Pickett's Charge" during the 150th anniversary of the battle. Brian has lived in Sacramento, California for the last twenty two years. Previously, Brian lived in Arizona (Scottsdale and Flagstaff) for seventeen years.
