About this listen

The truth: Most women do not have satisfying sex lives. Slow Sex can change that. Better sex is about one thing: better orgasm. This life-altering guide teaches men and women how to use the practice of Orgasmic Meditation - or OM - to slow down, connect emotionally, and achieve authentic female sexual satisfaction.

The promise: In just 15 minutes every woman can become orgasmic. And, with the right partner and the right technique, that orgasm could last and last! For more than a decade, Nicole Daedone has been leading the "slow sex movement," which is devoted to the art and craft of the female orgasm. OM is the act of slowing down, tuning in, and experiencing a deeper spiritual and physical connection during sex.

Slow Sex reveals the philosophy and techniques of OM and includes a step-by-step, 10-day OM starter program, as well as OM secrets for achieving ultimate satisfaction. It also includes exercises to help enhance listeners' "regular" sex lives, such as Slow Oral for Her, Slow Oral for Him, and Slow Intercourse. This book is the argument for daily intimacy, and for paying attention as the foundation of pleasure, all with a focus on the female experience.

Consider buying the book instead

I guess I’m happy I’ve gone through this book, because there were a few thoughts I could take away and which I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise... but I had to force myself to complete it. The subject is very interesting, but the book is way too long, painfully repetitive and I found the writing often cheap and cliche.

If I was to recommend it to someone, I would suggest them to read the book, where they can progress at their own pace and easily skip or skim through parts. (But I have to admit, it’s very entertaining and somehow deeply satisfying to be “secretly” listening to this on your headphones while being crammed up on a tram during your morning commute with 30 people standing around you... )

Nice book. But it focuses a lot on the OM part

This is a lovely Audiobook. I'd recommend it for women who struggle with reaching clitoral orgasms in a natural way (no sex toys) or struggle with intimacy and communication in their relationships.

It worked for me first time :)

I have been curious about tantra and being present in life and in intimacy for decades. I've never actually had the courage to delve into it till now as I was warmly recommended this book by a colleague. I listened to it and love Nicole's loving, authentic beautiful voice. She invites us to be still, to be present, to fade out all the noise around us and really be with what is there.

So I did the first exercise with my beloved partner and IT WORKED!

I reached a new level of awareness (and arousal) that I didn't think was possible. And its so easy and actually if I think about it - natural.

I love what Nicole shares about this practice and work being what we intrinsically and naturally are. We are experiencers of sensation.

As she also explains, it is a way of being that returns us to a natural, relaxed and joyful state. I really love the work, love the joy and enthusiasm with which she reads and shares these jewels of wisdom with us.

Very good concept

I whole heartedly go with the concept of slow sex. It transforms relationships. This is basically a good book, however it labours the point a bit And spends a fair amount of time not getting to the point, sadly.there are some nuggets here, you just have to listen to the same stuff repeated a few times and a bit of padding to get to it.

Self satisfied preener

It’s like listening to a cat lick itself. Nauseating, self-congratulatory. An air of being god in the sphere of sex, being reasonably minded but talking to humans from her seat on Mount Olympus. Even when she has anything good to say it’s hard to get past how long she takes to actually say something. There was a nice story about enjoying fresh tomatoes on their own… I then had a chapter and a half of nothing but smugness, and gave up

Too drawn out

What was said could have been portrayed in less than an hour. Audio quality not too good either.
